Return & Refund Policy for Phostara

1. What This Policy Covers

At Phostara, every lamp is designed by me and 3D printed by hand. Because each lamp is made specifically for your order, I ask you to read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

This policy applies to all products sold on phostara.in.


2. Damaged or Defective Products (What I Cover)

If your lamp arrives damaged, broken, or has a printing defect:

  • You must contact me within 3 days of receiving your order.

  • Provide clear photos or a short video showing the issue.

  • I will evaluate the problem and, if confirmed, send you a free replacement lamp.

  • No return shipping cost for you.

If the lamp stops working properly within 30 days of delivery due to a manufacturing defect, the same replacement policy applies.


3. Change of Mind (What I Do Not Cover)

Because each lamp is 3D printed uniquely for your order and cannot be resold to another customer:

  • I do not accept returns for change of mind.

  • I do not accept returns for "I don't like the design" or "it doesn't match my room."

Please review product photos and descriptions carefully before ordering.


4. What Is Not Covered

I cannot offer a replacement or refund for:



Issue Why
Minor cosmetic imperfections (layer lines, small surface marks typical of 3D printing) These are natural to the 3D printing process and not considered defects.
Damage caused by dropping, mishandling, or misuse after delivery The lamp is yours once delivered.
Issues reported after the 3-day notification window I need to be notified quickly to verify the problem.

5. Refund Process

If a refund is approved (for damaged or defective products only):

  • Refund will be issued to your original payment method.

  • Processing time: 5–7 business days after approval.

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.


6. Order Cancellations

8. Your Legal Rights

This policy does not override your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. If a product is defective, misdescribed, or of inferior quality, you are entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair under Indian law. E-commerce sellers in India are required to clearly state their return and refund policies and process refunds within a reasonable timeframe.
