📦 Shipping Policy

At Phostara, each lamp is designed and handcrafted by me. This policy outlines how and when your order will be delivered.

1. Order Processing Time

  • All orders are processed within 2–4 business days from the date of purchase.

  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next working day.

  • You will receive a confirmation email with tracking details once your order is dispatched.

2. Domestic Shipping (Within India)

We currently ship only within India.

Delivery times may vary slightly due to your location, courier partner efficiency, or unexpected delays.

3. Shipping Charges

  • A flat shipping fee of ₹50 applies to all orders.

  • Shipping charges are displayed clearly at checkout before payment confirmation.

4. Order Tracking

Once your order is shipped, you will receive:

  • A tracking link via email and WhatsApp (if provided) to monitor your shipment in real time.

  • You can also track your order status in your Shopify account under "My Orders".

If you do not receive tracking details within 48 hours of dispatch, please contact us immediately.

5. Local Delivery (Hyderabad)

  • For customers in Hyderabad, I offer free hand delivery.

  • Your order will be personally delivered by me within 2–3 business days after processing.

  • You will receive a message to coordinate a convenient delivery time.

6. Delays & Exceptions

While I strive to deliver on time, delays may occur due to:

  • Natural disasters, strikes, or other unforeseen events

  • Wrong or incomplete shipping address provided at checkout

  • Courier partner delays or holidays

In case of a significant delay, I will notify you and work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

7. Failed Delivery Attempts & Return to Origin (RTO)

If delivery fails due to:

  • Wrong address provided by the customer

  • Recipient not available

  • Package refused by the recipient

Our courier partner will typically attempt one redelivery. If that also fails, the order will be returned to me (Return to Origin).
In such cases, I will contact you to arrange for redelivery. Any additional shipping charges for redelivery will be borne by the customer.

8. Lost or Damaged in Transit

  • If your order is lost or significantly delayed in transit, please contact me within 7 days of the estimated delivery date.

  • If your lamp arrives damaged, refer to our Refund Policy (same link) for replacement instructions. You will need to provide photos or a short video of the damage.

9. Packaging

Every lamp is carefully packed with bubble wrap and sturdy boxes to ensure safe transit. Fragile items receive extra protective packing.
